Giving

Hillsboro Community Medical Center was established in 1889. We are—and always have been—a private, not-for-profit medical center. For over 100 years, HCMC has operated without financial support from the county and has therefore never been a tax burden to the citizens of Marion County.

Hillsboro Community Medical Center relies soley on revenues received from operations and donations. Gifts from supporters of HCMC help provide necessary medical services for your neighbors, friends, and family. They also allow us to update equipment to stay on the cutting edge in medical care. Your gifts benefit the entire community.

Donations to Hillsboro Community Medical Center are tax deductible and may also provide considerable tax advantages to you. Various gift opportunities exist, including donations of stock, cash, annuities, insurance proceeds, gifts-in-kind, real estate, short-term lease of commodities, trusts, and wills.

We hope that you will help HCMC through your support, and we would be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Please call Michael Ryan, CEO at 620-947-3114, or e-mail mryan@hcmcks.org for more information.
